D&J Medical has worked closely with Greater Baltimore Medical Center for many years, our practitioners have multiple clinics throughout the hospital. Our Towson location is very convenient for GBMC patients, but we wanted to make it even more convenient for them. That became a reality when we moved on to the GBMC campus. Along with a great space, is our practitioner Sharon O’Leary who is available Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Sharon is one of D&J Medical’s newest employees. She might be new to D&J Medical, but she is not new to the medical industry. Sharon specializes in orthotic bracing for upper and lower extremities. You will find her all over the hospital fitting patients. Sharon’s background is in physical therapy where her knowledge and experience makes her patients feel at ease. She is very talented and loves what she does. The favorite thing about her job is providing her patients with braces that give support and manage pain so they can live without limits.
Sharon is very familiar with the Baltimore area. She was born and raised in Middle River, Maryland. Her childhood home is right on the water, she was able to spend countless hours swimming or playing on the beach as a kid. Being near the water it may not surprise you, but something you might not know is that Sharon has her boater’s license and knows how to sail. Sharon’s love for the outdoors and swimming has never changed, but now that she is married and has a son, their hobbies have increased to playing sports, hiking, and anything outside with her family.
