D&J Medical has been providing patients with custom orthotics and bracing, upper and lower extremity prosthetic limbs, burn garments and lymphedema compression therapy since 2001.
We combine state of the art technology with our expertise in the human body and physiology, pathophysiology, biomechanics and applied science to support our patients in achieving the highest possible quality of life. Just as importantly, we are committed to providing a treatment experience like no other, offering all of our services in a friendly, personable, respectful and compassionate setting.
Maryland Orthotics & Prosthetics (MDOP) has restored the lives of thousands since our founding in 1981. We work with patients, doctors, and therapists to rebuild our patient’s lives by compassionately listening and fostering open discussion. We provide the ultimate level of comfort, durability, function, and fit in a prosthesis and orthosis – based upon the goals and ability of our patients.
Because each patient is unique and special to us, we are with you every step of the way. We begin by discussing your individual treatment plan, including benefits, risks and time involved, during your initial visit. We take into consideration your capabilities, goals and needs. Then we work together with you, your family members and medical team, and each other, collaborating to ensure that you receive a continuum of quality care.
Through the entire process of measuring, fitting, educating, adjusting and monitoring all devices and treatment, we provide the individual attention you deserve to achieve optimum results. We continue to work with you throughout your maintenance plan, and in many cases, our long-term relationships with our patients become life-long friendships.
