I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. When I was younger, I was involved in softball and cheerleading, and liked to spend time outdoors playing with friends. From a young age, I was comfortable taking on a caregiver role in my family and it helped shape my career path. I’ve been working in the medical field since I was 17, and been in multiple fields, from physical therapy, to oncology, and now in compression therapy. Seeing a patient happy with the care I provide is extremely rewarding and gratifying, and I look forward to seeing the improvement in the quality of life.
Since starting at D & J, I’ve focused mainly on lymphedema and burn garments. I’m very lucky to be mentored by some of our other compression fitters, and am excited to continue to grow in this field.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have a 5 year old daughter named Macie. She’s very involved in many of the same activities I enjoyed when I was her age, and I like volunteering with her school and sports. On the weekends, we like to grill, go to local parks, and take beach trips.
